Introduction
Gateway is our main entry point for all incoming requests. It is responsible for routing requests to the appropriate service.
It provides a RESTful API to query and manipulate entities and relationships in the database.
Bevor you start using the API you need to get familiar with the Datastructures and our Terminology.
For this you should read the following documents:
After you have read these documents, you can start using the API.
If you don't have an API key yet, head over to Acquiring an API Key to get one.
If you already have an API key, you can start at Authentication.
If you want to know what changed between the Venus Knowledge Graph and the new Social Knowledge Graph, you can read the Breaking Changes.
We have two different deployments of our System:
- Gateway DEV for development and testing purposes. https://gateway.dev.social.vns.services
- Gateway PROD for production. https://gateway.social.vns.services
Also note that you need/get different API keys for both systems.
